The use of bouncy bands has been almost a daily activity at our school. My students have a difficult time conciliating their sensory needs with their ability to focus The bouncy bands allow them to sit at a desk while still "feeding" their need to move. I have been using regular sensory bands from several vendors. However, due to the fact that my students are particularly active and strong, these bands have been braking (almost) on a weekly basis. Recently I have purchased 2 of these specific "Bouncy Bands" and, to my surprise, they have been resisting since the beginning of the school year. They are made of sturdy and high quality material that resists daily, repetitive strain. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus better on the academic activities if their sensory needs are met.
