We have a very active foods program and we cook several times a week. My class is one of the most popular at our school because the students get to create while learning, socializing and eating! There are so many job skills that they learn such as time management, organization, following directions, how to get along with others etc. They also learn cooking techniques, terminology and enjoy cooking for themselves and others. We have very old equipment and two of our ovens just quit. A new oven would be wonderful!
