By adding flexible seating to my classroom, it will ensure that my students with sensory issues can pick a seat that is comfortable. Having seating that is specific to my students sensory needs, will aid them in getting the most out of their academic time in the classroom. Hard, uncomfortable chairs can lead to anger outburst, and unwillingness to sit when prompted. When students are uncomfortable in hard plastic chairs that are sometimes too large for them, it is hard for them to concentrate on what they are trying to learn. Please help my students to feel at home and in comfort while learning.
