World language students love to learn about the cultures and traditions of the countries that speak the language they are learning. Traveling to these countries is very expensive and an opportunity students might not be able to have. Because of this, I create opportunities in my classroom through art and projects that allow students to experience the richness of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. For example, the students will study Hispanic painters and then create a work of their own that is inspired by the Hispanic artist. The markers and Spanish/English dictionaries will help students complete their projects. The posters will help me create a fun and interactive environment for my students and help the students to remember basic vocabulary and verb endings. Thank you for your support!
