We will be reading both of these books together as a class. At the beginning of the year, we will be reading "Chains" together when we study the American Revolution. Then, during second term will be studying "Across Five Aprils" when we learn about the Civil War. COVID has been a challenging situation for many teens. As we read these books, we will be reading about the trials other teens have endured throughout our history. Specifically we will be reading about the American Revolution and the Civil War and making applications to our own lives.

About my class
