These past two years of COVID have really impacted these younger students. They have been conditioned to work alone, at home, and social distance. They struggle to sit in a classroom longer than usual, which in turns creates behavior issues. By providing my students with these learning games and incentives, they will have the opportunity to be incentivized with good behavior and earn desk pets, work together, and learn what it means to be a team player. My students have missed learning and working together with their classmates and friends. Students need to communicate and work together in the learning process. These games and activities will help them do this.
