We are offering a Design and Modeling course for the first time this year. They will have the chance to design solutions to problems and make prototypes using these 3D printers. The auto-leveling kits allow us to print the designs without having tons of downtime leveling the printer. 3D printing their own designs gives students a way to show off their design skills and keeps them excited about learning. They love seeing their designs come to life before their eyes. These kinds of hands-on activities lead to more engaged learning, especially after coming back from remote learning.
