Center time is a great time for students to practice skills they have learned in different ways. They LOVE center time. Centers help them learn skills while playing fun games. It is their favorite time of the week, but I don't have very many learning games to help them all work on the skills they are working on in class. These activities and learning games will help my students learn skills needed to practice reading or to practice their addition and subtraction skills. It gives students lots of different ways to practice their skills. If I have more activities available throughout the year, it keeps them more engaged in their learning. On the plus side, it makes it so fun!!!
