Due to Covid-19 there are students in my class who are several years behind in their reading and writing. In all my years teaching, I have never seen a bigger gap between high and low achieving students. I will use these hands-,on reading activities to support students who are struggling in language and reading skills. Using these fun and engaging activities, I will encourage and support the needs of my students who struggle and those who need a push to the higher level. When learning is fun, it's always more motivating.
