The classroom materials and subject specific manipulatives will continue to enhance the curiosity and learning that is already embedded in my students. My students love to explore and share what they know about the world around them. I am a first year teacher and want to fill my classroom with materials and tools that allow students to learn in various ways and grow their interest. I want my classroom to be filled with various experiences in learning that will stay with my students for life. With these new materials and manipulatives, students will be able learn in many ways, creating a positive learning environment. I want them to find understanding in math through using math manipulatives and having a visual, hands on experience. I want them to be able to use language arts cards, visuals, or games so that they find enjoyment as they learn and gain understanding. My students need a classroom library that has a variety of books. They will benefit from different ways to learn and hands-on experiences as they develop in their learning. Classroom materials and hands-on manipulatives will provide my students with a meaningful learning experience and instill a love of learning.
