Our counseling center also relies solely on Chrome books in our computer lab. This is helpful to keep costs down, but sometimes it is necessary for students to use a windows operating computer to complete some tasks. It would be very helpful to have this option available to students. One laptop will service over 1500 students multiple times a year. Our counseling office is also currently relying on using home personal laptops or difficult-to-use chrome books to show presentations to students in group settings. We use presentations for college and career planning, graduation, mental health, and registration at both the high school and middle school. Lastly, not all of our counselors have home computers. This laptop would allow for remote or distance working if it becomes necessary again or for counselors that are required to quarantine to work from home.
