Through this project, I hope to provide my students with a fun learning area where they can learn to love reading and math. By using leveled reading materials, I can tailor each lesson to the reading level of each student, from kindergarten to second grade, and still teach students in small groups of five within the classroom rather than individually, to make my teaching more efficient. By using easels and other group resources, I can make the classroom a fun and inviting place to spend time and learn with their friends. Flexible seating and hands on STEM materials make instruction inviting and comfortable. I hope for this project to increase my students love for school and lifelong learning.
