My students range from a variety of learning types. These resources will help not only those who are still struggling to learn their letters and sounds because they haven’t been to kindergarten but also those students who excel and read at a higher level. I also have a mix of students in the middle who will benefit from the materials that will work on word blending and phonemic awareness. The most important thing I can do as a teacher is getting my students to realize just how smart they all are regardless of where they are socially, academically, emotionally, etc. We treat everyone with kindness in our classroom and use our tools from all our “toolboxes” to help strengthen our knowledge. All these resources will add to our toolbox and help my students be even more successful!
