These games will help students practice math skills in an engaging environment where they can interact with one another. Rather than completing worksheets or having their face in a computer screen, students can learn math while practicing important social skills. Students will see math as fun and interactive. This summer I attended a workshop where I saw veteran teachers using these same games to get students to buy in and and see math as fun. I have been using many of the "games" I am able to make myself and have already seen so much success and greater participation this year. Students need to get back in the habit of learning with others rather than always working independently on their Chromebooks.
