All the resources I am asking for are manipulatives and games that my students can use to help them reinforce the concepts we are learning in our Spanish Immersion class. Most materials I am asking for are Math games and manipulatives to add to our Math Centers and Math shelves. Some of them are Montessori since I am a Montessori licensed teacher and, even though I work in a regular school, some of our K-2 teachers use that approach in our classrooms. I have other Math materials that align with the Montessori approach in class and I have found them very beneficial to my students' learning progress. Also, I am asking for some puzzles about the life cycle of frogs, butterflies and trees that we are currently learning in the first module of our Spanish Literacy program and also in Science. Also on that note, we are learning the beginning sounds to help us become better readers, so I ask for some materials that will help my students reinforce the learning of those sounds. I know for sure my students understand the concepts deeply while exploring on their own with different materials and with hands-on activities. Since we started teaching again after COVID, I prepare lots of individual, independent work on trays for each student to work on during different moments of the day. I found myself having to create lots of activities to have enough for the whole class. Also before COVID, I used to have groups of 6-9 kids working on the same Center, but now I have reduced the groups to four students or just partners in order to reduce contacts, which means having to create more centers and activities. I am sure these resources will create lots of new learning opportunities in my class.
