The best way for someone to improve on a skill is to practice practice practice! My students will become more fluent readers with more extensive vocabularies if they are reading each and every day. I have a classroom library but many of my avid readers have already read most of my books and are scouring my selves for something new and interesting. I also have a wide range of readers on many different levels and need to meet those various needs. Students will also be able to check books out and take home to read with parents.
