The materials that I’m requesting will help in either whole group class time or during our small group time. Our students need a lot of practice with writing words, spelling them and learning the spelling patterns. It gets boring just writing on paper every time and some of the student lose interest in what we are doing. The students need more wonderful ways to learn. By using a magnetic whiteboard, my students can practice the spelling words as a whole group by writing the words on the lines, which is also very important during the 1st grade year. Then we can use the same boards during small group time and use magnetic letters to build the words we have been learning.
