The supplies I have requested will greatly assist me in providing small group, hands-on learning opportunities for my students. I have been making do with a small hand-held whiteboard for my small group intervention times. The easel would allow my students a much better visual during this time. I would be able to display reading, writing, and math strategies that my students could easily see. Students really struggle with visualizing fractions. I have been drawing them out every time. The large magnetic fractions would be used to help my struggling students "see" what we are talking about when finding equivalent fractions, comparing, adding, and subtracting fractions. While my students and I are diligently working with what we have available, these additional tools would make things so much better. Thank you!
