Most often I will use this material during small groups instructions/ rotations. The goal is that by becoming automatic and fluent with their basic math skills students will improve their problem-solving skills and also be able to perform harder (multi-steps) math problems without wasting too much time thinking about the basic operations. Often students struggle with math concepts because of the lack of sufficient and diverse practice. The materials I order will help add variety and more practice to our math class. Strong math concepts help students figure out patterns around them which is a phenomenal skill to have.
