There are many reasons behind the items I've requested, but the largest benefits will be organization and accessibility of the instruments I have. I have also requested some additional instruments and tools to allow students more time with hands-on experience. Percussion instruments are an amazing asset at this time because they are easy to disinfect between classes, and because the students love them. My goal is simple: I want my students to feel safe and excited to experiment with music. I have found that getting out and putting away our instruments is the most stressful time for my students. Its close quarters, chaotic, and takes far too long. With organizational tools and additional instruments, I can arrange my classroom so that retrieving instruments is exciting and sanitary. Help me continue my students' social-emotional learning by providing us with accessibility to instruments. Help my students get more instruments in their hands, safely.
