The occupation of children is PLAY! These supplies will help build my collection of activities to help students reach their occupational therapy goals. In OT we love hands on activities like games and crafts! Lucky for me, the kids love these things too. We will use these supplies to build and grow their fine motor, visual motor, bilateral coordination, and gross motor skills, helping the students reach their full potential in their learning environment. We explore and learn through a variety of hands on activities including arts and craft projects, games, play doh and building block tasks. Anything that keeps the students engaged and having fun while learning, is an effective tool for therapy. One of my favorite activities is setting out craft supplies and encouraging the students to use their imagination!
