Many students are exhausted from all of the changes to school due to COVID-19. They need materials at school that spark their interest and help them to feel successful. By expanding my classroom library, all students will be able to find books on their level that relate to their interests. This project will encourage my students to become readers. Additionally, creating an expansive classroom library helps the students to build a common culture. They begin to recommend books they found in the library to their classmates. This sparks discussion and creates a stronger class community.

About my class
