Not to mention, as a small town school, students who struggle academically may also face challenges with executive functioning, staying on task, managing time, and following multi-step directions. Without consistent support, these difficulties can compound, making school feel overwhelming. In a classroom with diverse learning manipulatives and multiple opportunities to engage in hands on, kinesthetic learning, students may feel greater success.
