Color has been shown to improve students' brain function by helping absorb and retain new information, and inspire creativity. For this reason, the students and I will be using the color printer to create helpful learning tools such as those that can be used on a reading lesson to help with visual learning strategies. The printer will also be used to improve math lessons. For example, pictures of clocks showing daily events will help students understand time. Another way the printer will be used is with PowerPoint presentations. Students will be given time to create and print out their PowerPoint presentations. These are just some of the ways the new color printer will help improve learning in our class.
