This means students take responsibility for understanding the concepts taught, track their own success and make new goals for higher achievement. These materials will be help me align the Utah Core Standards including RL 3.3, RL 3.5, SL 3.1 and 3.NF.1,and meeting the strategic plan for personalized learning. Our class goal is: "Take Charge of My Own Learning." We have various ways of accomplishing this goal. Students are required to participate in online work, both learning and submitting assignments. Through technology, students are able to record their own voices, explaining and teaching the concept through applications that provide this option. Providing students with headphones with build in microphones that muffle surrounding noise will help support their learning and achievement. As the frontline expert, I know this will increase success in all subject areas with my students.
