I'm teaching a Dual Immersion TK in a 100% low-income/high-poverty school. I recognize the challenge of my students are facing both in and out of the classroom. Knowing that the globalization requires new skills and innovation, I’m planning lessons that includes STEAM Hands-on activities. Supporting the future in today’s classroom. Way to go! This is a great opportunity to introduce my students into the mindset that they have the ability to be creative and that the future is waiting for them. For this reason, they need to have access to a variety of Science materials that helping understand the basic of the simple machines and how their work. The materials and resources that I’m looking for will help and supporting my 4 and 5 years old to apply, investigate, create and design simple machines. STEAM resources support children’s learning Furthermore, children will work together which will help them to develop social-emotional and teamwork skills plus practice their English and Spanish languages at the same time. In addition, the materials will be display and accessible to all my students during the school day within the math/Science /Art center.
