The use of whiteboards helps us conserve paper during our word study focus in reading groups. Many of our students are in need of pencil grips in kindergarten because they struggle with fine motor skills. We utilize literacy games as a reward earned in reading groups. Many of our intervention books are old, and we are hoping new books will excite students. Some of our materials have gone missing since sending them home with students during the COVID-19 shutdown, so we are hoping to replace and refresh our intervention library.
