These materials will make a huge difference in my classroom. We are teaching first graders the skills they need in order to be successful in reading and writing. With these tools, I can do just that by allowing my students to be hands on to build new words, break apart words, and use manipulatives to connect the new skills with movement. They can absorb new information better when they are hands on and building. They can understand why different sounds blended together make one word when they are the ones who are doing the blending.

About my class
