The games and materials chosen will aid students in applying their learning about ancient and foreign cultures. They will be able to see first hand, and have to strategize and collaborate to create a civilization using the necessary traits and processes involved. These compliment and increase understanding in how civilizations are created, how they thrived and expanded, and what characteristics are required to be a civilization. The art materials will aid in students representing their learning through posters, color and organizing charts to express their learning and explain their knowledge to others. The art materials will also be used in foreign language class to research and organize learning about target cultures, people and places.

About my class
