The balloon race cars and light prism materials that are being requested will allow our non-English speakers the time and visual they need to grasp the concepts being taught. They are also reusable! Native English speakers will benefit as well as they get to dive deeper into the learning, but for the others they need to see and hold objects that the teacher can point to and talk about in front of the students. This helps them to grasp was is being taught in a foreign language to them. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The projects we are asking to be funded will cover multiple topics at once so they will summarize many concepts in one activity. Therefore, they will be of great use for these non-English speakers to see and review all we have been going over.
