My students vary in grade levels from kindergarten- 9th grade. They love to read stories, and my youngest students, especially, love to learn about animals, families, and to make art projects! I will use the comprehensible storybooks in Spanish in center rotations to practice reading and pronunciation in Spanish. I will also use the books to practice reading to their classmates. I will use the picture cards, bingo games, grammar games, and flashcards to increase my students vocabularies in both English and Spanish. I spend 90% of my day teaching Spanish to students ages 10 and under, and these students need more opportunities to decode in Spanish. I have wanted to provide leveled comprehensible reading opportunities for my young students for several years! My students also love drawing, coloring, and art. The art supplies will make my students so happy!
