Due to the educational world shifting from in-person education to online learning, extra Chromebooks would enhance my classroom by allowing my the opportunity to send them home with students that do not have access to technology at home. We also use Chromebooks to access many of our curriculum resources online. Having Chromebooks would open the door to programs like i-ready, Lexia, Flow Fluency, etc. Chromebooks in the classroom help with writing assignments, research, and new experiences. Field trips are so limited now because of COVID and it is nice to be able to have the students take virtual field trips. The class loves anything and everything that is technology related.
