Help support Ms. Holt's Classroom

I have a classroom full of energetic 4th graders. They love coming to school everyday and I want to create a fun learning environment for them. COVID has completely changed how they learn. They were used to working at home at their own pace, but now in a classroom, they follow a specific routine every day instead of working on their own. I want to give them the opportunity to choose how they sit (flexible seating) by using the special seating options included in my list to help those students who need to move around a bit to stay focused. I'm also requesting a set of Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief so I can do a novel study with my students. Percy Jackson is a great book to use since it's fun to read and a great book for 4th graders. This will be a fun study to dive into since most students know this story well and will hopefully build their love for reading. I've also requested various supplies like pencils, paper, a pencil sharpener, expo markers, as those are supplies that are always needed in my class. I have also requested some lab aprons since we do dissections of a squid, a cow eye, and a sheep's brain with our new science curriculum! I know that these new lab aprons will greatly benefit my students so that we can continue with these educational and engaging hands-on science lessons. I am grateful that despite Covid and the restrictions that it has put on my classroom, we are still able to do these amazing science experiments when the students have their own supplies that they can use individually.
