As a speech therapist, I help many students fill holes in the building to learn to socialize and language acquisition. It was particularly tough to help provide services when we were not in person. Many students need support with their IEP (individualized learning plan) goals. If I can get some exciting things to motivate them, that will help me be an effective teacher and leader. I am asking for art supplies, card stock, and pastels to create while working with students with articulation. These pastels are so fun and engaging but get used up quickly. Then I need to reward students for their progress to continue to work hard for me. Additionally, I am asking for Minifigures, Playdoh, candy, bubbles, and toys. If I had rewards that students could work for that, they are motivated by, that would tremendously assist me in filling holes from Covid loss. A safe and healthy school has kids progressing in all areas. Speech services are a big part of that. Please help me motivate my students and help teachers with their students towards academic success.
