Now that we are back in the classroom, we need to be able to collect, record, and compare class data in the science lab. Students perform an experiment, record their data on their clipboard, and then self-report on the class whiteboard in the lab to compare data. Hopefully, the written, visual, and verbal comparisons of data will help students to develop scientific processes and critical thinking skills. It will also help them to internalize the scientific method as they Do, Report, Revise, Repeat and Conclude every time they are involved in lab work!
