Anytime students can practice content in a fun and creative ways, learning improves! Students get engaged in the process, interact and utilize their minds in positive ways. All these materials I've requested will accomplish more. The Math card games will build Math Number Sense in fun and innovative ways, the Normal Curve (Galton Board) will demonstrate in real-time the formation of the Normal Curve we use constantly in Statistics. The Dice allow for probability and number sense practice in a different way as well. The magnets will allow students to manipulate their own equations by hand. The list goes on and on. I want to engage my students in the practice and learning of Mathematics in fun, creative and interesting ways to build confidence, a love of learning, and Math proficiency.
