Group work and social interaction with peers helps students recover from the effects of COVID-19 and the time they were taken out of school. Reviewing in ways where groups can help each other, and re-teach each other, significantly increases quiz and test scores in my experience. Students enjoy these activities and crave more knowledge when they are tested in ways that are visually engaging and hands-on. We would use the metal boxes, hasps and locks to create fun engaging study reviews. Students decode information to find the codes for the locks to reach their final prize, a review packet and candy. The buzzers will be great for our team jeopardy reviews. White boards are a great way to quietly answer questions during a review by holding the correct answer up first.
