Students have missed out on physical activity with friends and these activities will provide new opportunities and experiences that will enrich their lives. Spikeball, golf, and weight training are activities that can be done in groups and provide social interactions that have been missed. These are activities that can be learned in school but used in recreation throughout their lives. Spikeball is a relatively new activity that is fun to play. Golf is not new but not always given the attention in school like many team sports. Using the benches in weight training provides opportunities for the students to learn exercises that can be used throughout their life to keep physically fit. Students need new ideas to keep the motivation alive for healthy lifestyles. These activities can be done in small groups of friends or by individuals who are meeting for the first time. These are lifelong activities that promote being active and social in a world where people tend to be cut off because of worldwide situations.
