The materials and supplies that I am requesting will provide reading materials for a classroom library for special education students. The classroom library helps support literary instruction, provides a central location for classroom resources and provides opportunities for independent reading. The books chosen correspond with books that are assigned in their general education language arts class. Books were also carefully curated to be school appropriate and part of the curriculum. The bookshelves provide organization for the books by genre. The banana chair provides a fun and relaxing environment to read and enjoy the books.
