ZUMBA is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating, and effective fitness system. Zumba combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpts the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning. The Zumba shake weights will be a fun dynamic to add to the class to keep the energy high and the class engaging. They will use the Zumba shake weights as we do fitness choreography to music, and the weights make fun rattle sounds when used so it will be fun to shake the weights. The weights will help with muscle toning, helping to improve body composition for students as well Children have spent a lot of time sitting during the pandemic and now that we are in-person learning the students are needing that extra help to improve physical, mental, and social health. I want EVERYONE to have a positive experience in my class so I continue to find ways, like having the Zumba shake weights, to make class awesome. I also added an organizer to help aid in organizing student choreography papers as they learn to choreograph their own Zumba routines.
