I meet with many of my homeless and at-risk students outside of the classroom and I need a device that they can use to work on programs and shared documents. Students are not allowed to take the laptops or Chromebooks out of the classroom so having a tablet device available will allow students to work on the online materials they need to access when we meet. Many of these students have no access to a portable digital device to access the internet and their online learning programs. The iPad will work well with the technology the students are used to in the classroom but will give them access to it outside of the classroom.
