The pandemic has created a lot of challenges and many students have learning gaps as a result of the disruptions the pandemics has caused to their schooling. The books in this project will help me provide my students with motivating learning opportunities that will help them grow as readers and writers. My students love learning about science topics and these books about animal adaptations will be a wonderful resource for learning about non-fiction text features and for developing their research skills. The Keva Planks will provide collaborative learning opportunities for our class. As students work together to complete engineering challenges, they will also build relationships and develop their social-emotional skills. These hands-on activities make learning and working together fun!
