Due to the pandemic I need to provide quality synchronous and asynchronous teaching for my students who can be in class. I often have to use my own phone to record my classes and post my lessons on our learning management system. My students have reported that they can't see all of what is on the board or my walls while I teach. The Apple TV will enable me to screen mirror canvases, videos, notes, and websites on to my projector screen without having to sit in front of my computer during the entire period. The Apple TV will allow my students who have to watch my lessons to see everything that I am writing and referencing during my lessons.
I also need a variety of ways to engage my students. The whiteboards, markers, erasers, and easel post-it pads will enable me to do that. Some students are nervous about participating out loud, but they are more than willing to use the whiteboards to show me what they have learned. I can also take pictures what they have produced on the whiteboards and easel pads to to add to my asynchronous lessons. This will help those who are learning at home feel like they are part of the class.
