My early childhood students will gain clinical experiences working with preschool students in the lab. These Early childhood students will be working hands-on Monday thru Friday, three hours per day with the students to insure that the preschoolers are mastering the necessary skills to enter kindergarten .The Kindergarten book collection will be used to teach preschoolers the fundamentals of reading and phonics. These books are necessary because the preschool does not have enough reading materials to prepare them for kindergarten. The preschool consist of children low-income neighborhoods, ranging from ages 3-5 years of age.
