The 3D printer will teach kids about using CAD (or similar software) and give students more design options. The dremel kit will allow them to spend more time designing and less time trying to manually work with the metal pieces. They have often spent a disproportionate amount of time at a meeting filing parts or manually cutting them. This is not only inefficient, but unsafe. These tools together will help our team be more efficient and creative. It will allow them more design options as well. It will spark their creativity and give them a competitive edge.
