I work at two different Title 1 schools with low-income families. I strive to create a fun speech therapy room, while also making it safe. Because students often need to remove their masks in order to receive visual feedback, it is important for me to have a high-quality air purifier to make them feel safe. I have also included some fragrance-free lotions because all the sanitizing/hand washing is leaving their little hands raw! I have also included several books with anti-racist themes so that they can identify with the characters. Lastly, I have included items for my "prize box" where they get to choose items once they fill their sticker sheet.
