The light up boards will help my struggling students to learn to write letters and numbers with the ability to trace until they have discovered they can write letters on their own. This will allow them to learn to write their own name, personal information needed later in life among other things. The sensory activities will help support cognitive growth as well as fine motor skills and language development. Autistic students thrive on sensory things whether it is used to calm them down or to help learn tolerance for different textures.
