My special needs students have a variety of abilities both academic and socially. One of the things that COVID has limited is their ability to be integrated with their typical peers. Some of our all school activities have been limited as well. In school activities the best way my students learn. Having hands on learning experience such as the STEM activity that will deal with Hydrolics assist my students to learn scientific concepts in a way that works best for them. This will take place as well with the insect jars and the insect nets. Again, they will have hands on experiences that make learning more meaningful for my special needs students. It will also greatly increase their social-emotional learning because they have the opportunity to be out in general education classes with their peers and have that positive modeling that come from their peers.
