The resources I am requesting won't necessarily be used at home, but could be if we had to go to at home learning. The scrapbook paper, tape and other paper will be used for our "Great Depression Quilt" that we make. The students research a topic about the Great Depression era and write about it on their quilt squares. We then attach all of the squares together to create a quilt we hang in the classroom. It was a great success last year and the students take pride in their work and love seeing it hanging in the classroom. Last year was the first time I tried it (I've been teaching 14 years) and really loved how it turned out. I would like to keep refining the project and continue challenging the students to think outside the box on presenting information in creative ways.
