I am an academic interventionist, which means I work with students who do not qualify for special education resources, but are performing below their elementary grade level. Working in a small group, or one on one, means you can focus activities on student's specific needs. I want those groups to be fun and motivating with the new language materials. We have goals for our kids and these tools will help us work on success together without things feeling too heavy or mundane. My goal is to make students look forward to the time we spend together each day.
